B2M is a one-person business run by Simon Fawkes in New Zealand. This page explains what happens to information you give us, in plain language.

What we collect

When you enquire about the sprint or book a call, you give us your name, email address, company, role, the number of seats you want, your time zone, and a description of the work you would like covered. You choose what to put in that last one.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard page-visit statistics. We do not run advertising trackers.

What we do with it

  • Reply to your enquiry and arrange a call
  • Prepare and deliver a sprint if you book one
  • Invoice you

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired.

Who else sees it

Only the services we use to run the business: email and calendar, the website host, scheduling, and accounting. Each holds only what it needs. Nobody else receives your information unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to paid work are kept for seven years, which is what New Zealand tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email simon@b2mai.com and we will action it. Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the same rights apply to you under UK GDPR and GDPR, and you can complain to your own supervisory authority.

Where your information is held

B2M operates from New Zealand, and the services we use store data in New Zealand, Australia, the United States and the European Union. By enquiring, you accept that your information may be held outside your own country.
